Car Insurance Mitsubishi (Car Insurance). What is (1) 15" or 12" subwoofer that will give me big SPL in a ported setup?

What is (1) 15" or 12" subwoofer that will give me big SPL in a ported setup? I currently have 2 12" RE Audio SRX subs that are getting 300 w RMS each from a Polk amp in a dual Atrend ported box. I am looking to replace those subs with just (1) 15" or 12" that will be LOUDER than my current setup! I am trying to stay under $400 on the sub. I was looking at the Kicker L5, L7, Memphis MOJO, JL W6 and the FI BL. What sub should I get and what is a good ported box that hits the low notes REALLY HARD? I am open to suggestions. Thanks.

MTX TNP212D2 still sound great. I have a lot of friends with 1000$ packages and believe me these sound just as good and hit just as hard....it took me all 3 months to stop the rattles these subs cause by vibrating your door panels and rear deck. So if you own a Civic be prepared to do some sound proofing ....now that I have them hooked up to an aftermarket Kenwood head unit they sound even better. You literally can not beat this products value. sundown audio nightshade 15" look into atomic subwoofers. great quality and can take massive power. Mitsubishi . Drove up one way street the wrong way?

Drove up one way street the wrong way? I feel so f*cking stupid! I am so mad at myself. Today I accidentally drove the wrong way on a one way street. I have no clue what I was thinking. There were cars driving directly at me. I panicked and turned off at a signal, putting me in the correct direction, and made it home safely. Nothing happened. What breaks my heart is that my younger sister and younger brother were in the car with me. I feel so horrible. Should I try my best to not think about it and just move on and use this experience as being more careful on the road? Also have any of you made this mistake? I have only had my license for about a year and a half so I am pretty new. car insurance.

Toyota RAV4 has engine light, wet on engine, what could be the problem? It's a 2002, the engine light was on but the guy said it was a sensor that cost $400 to repair. Also, when we opened up the hood, the engine was a little wet and we asked why and he said from the "rain". Anybody know what the problem could be? It's a 2002 with 94000 miles, is it worth $7000? car insurance.

Mitsubishi . How to Replace a Coil Spring in a Geo Metro

You Geo Metro has coil springs in the rear suspension that are moderately easy to replace. You will need to disconnect the control arm and steering knuckle and a brake hose, but you won't have to remove the brake calipers or deal with a strut assembly. If you're a real beginner, give yourself an afternoon to complete these steps.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Safety stands
Extra jack
Ratchet set

Step by Step :
1
Raise and support your Geo Metro on safety stands, then remove the rear wheel on the side where you're going to be removing the coil spring. Disconnect the brake hose from the bracket on the control rod.
2
Remove the stud bolts from the control rod inside (body center side) and outside (wheel side). As you remove the washers, take careful note which of the alignment marks on the washer is closest to the stamped line on the control rod. If the lines are missing on either washer or control rod, add them with a permanent pen or paint line.
3
Disconnect the ABS speed sensor and remove the stabilizer link from the control arm if either is present. Support the control arm with a floor jack to take tension off the spring, and remove the bolt and nut holding the control arm to the knuckle. You'll have to manually pull the control arm out of the knuckle assembly.
4
Lower the floor jack slowly, lowering the control arm and coil spring as you go. Take the coil spring and seat out, noting that the coil spring is wider at the bottom than at the top. Replace the spring seat if it shows any signs of excessive wear, cracks or deterioration, then install the new coil spring into the spring seat and raise the control arm. Make sure to mate the spring end with the stepped part of the control arm spring seat, and make sure you've installed the spring wide side down.
5
Lift the control arm with the floor jack until it's level with the suspension knuckle; make sure the bolt holes are aligned, then install the lower mount bolt between the control arm and knuckle. Replace the ABS speed sensor and stabilizer link to the control arm if they were removed, making certain they're secure, then remove the jack from beneath the control arm.
6
Reinstall the control rod in the spring, installing both inside and outside bolts. Line up the marks on the washer and the body that you made in Step 2 to ensure the rod is properly aligned, and torque both inside and outside nuts to 59 foot pounds of torque. Replace the brake hose and secure it, then reinstall the rear wheels and lower your Geo Metro.
Tips & Warnings
The left and right control rods on your Geo Metro are not interchangeable. Mark them, if necessary, to make sure each is reinstalled on the correct side.

Mitsubishi . How to Replace a Coil Spring in a Lincoln Navigator

Your Lincoln Navigator is a rarity among large vehicles because it has a shock absorber/spring assembly in the front and rear suspensions, as opposed to leaf springs. These steps will guide you through replacing the rear coil springs on a Lincoln Navigator, and will require a specialized spring compression tool.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Marking pen or tape
Spring compressor tool
Wrench
Nuts

Step by Step :
1
Unbolt and remove the shock absorber/coil spring assembly from your Lincoln Navigator.
2
Make a straight vertical line through the mounts and shock absorber on the shock/spring assembly. Use a marking pen, tape or paint; this will help you to realign the parts when you reassemble them.
3
Use a spring compressor tool to compress the spring evenly until tension is released from the shock absorber, then remove the nut and washer holding the upper mount in place and discard the old nut.
4
Remove all parts of the shock/spring assembly between you and the spring. Carefully lift the still compressed spring off the shock absorber, then slowly release the compression on it according to your spring compression tool's documentation. Place a new spring in the compressor and slowly and carefully compress it sufficiently to install it around the shock absorber.
5
Install the compressed new spring onto the shock absorber then replace the components you removed in Step 4. Make certain the upper mount is securely bolted in place with a new nut before you release compression from the spring; as you release the spring, watch to make sure the marks you made in Step 2 line up properly and that the spring seats properly in the mounts.
6
Replace the shock/spring assembly in your Lincoln Navigator.

Figure 19-7: Turning Focal point radius. .Chapter 19: Checking Your Tires, Alignment, and Steering Checking your steering Checking your steering is easy. Just stand outside your vehicle, near the door on the driver's side. Stick your hand through the open window and move the steering wheel, with your eye on the left front tire. If you can move the steering wheel at all before the tire starts to move, then you need to have both your steering and alignment checked. There should be no "play" in the steering wheel before the signal is transmitted to the tires. As you drive your car, be alert to signs that it isn't handling as easily as before. If the vehicle seems to have a mind of its own and begins to resist you on turns (and pulling out of turns), take a good look at your tires for signs of wear caused by misalignment. Checking your tires for tiear You should check your tires for wear at least once a month and before and after long trips. To determine whether you need to (a) buy new tires, (b) have your wheels balanced, (c) have your wheels aligned, or (d) change your driving habits, simply read your tire treads for clues. Table 19-1 and Figure 19-8 show you what to look for. 913 Car Insurance 2008 ford f150 super cab xltpickup4d8ft 379566

To determine what's causing problems with your tires, try the following: Look for things embedded in each tire. Do you see nails, stones, or other debris embedded in the treads? Remove them. But if you're going to remove a nail, first make sure that your spare tire is inflated and in usable shape. If you hear a hissing sound when you pull a nail, push the nail back in quickly and take the tire to be fixed. If you aren't sure whether air is escaping, put some soapy water on the hole and look for the bubbles made by escaping air. If you're still not sure whether the nail may have caused a leak, check your air pressure and then check it again the next day to see whether it's lower (for help, see "Checking your air pressure," earlier in this chapter). Tires with leaks should be patched by a professional. If the leak persists, get a new tire. Figure 19-9: It's time for new tires when tread-wear indicators appear. .Chapter 19: Checking Your Tires, Alignment, and Steering A / 7 Look at the sidewalls. Check for deeply scuffed or worn areas, bulges or bubbles, small slits, or holes. Do the tires fit evenly and snugly around the wheel rims? Look at the treads. Most tires have tread-wear indicators built into them (see Figure 19-9). These bars of hard rubber are normally invisible but appear across treads that have been worn down to Xe of an inch of the surface of the tire (the legal limit in most states). If these indicators appear in two or three different places, less than 120 degrees apart on the circumference of the tire, replace the tire. If your tires don't show these indicators and you think that they may be worn below legal tolerances, place a Lincoln penny head-down in the groove between the treads. If you can see the top of Lincoln's head, your tire probably heeds to be replaced. To measure tread wear more exactly, place a thin ruler into the tread and measure the distance from the base of the tread to the surface. It should be more than Yw inch deep. (Note: If your front tires are more worn than your rear ones and show abnormal wear patterns, you probably need to have your wheels aligned.)
